Points for discussion
Syllabus. – Three possible syllabus we could select or combination of all three
• Tamil Nadu government text books – Freely available for use to teach and for exam
• Tamil Virtual University materials ‐ Freely available for use to teach. Also they have 6 levels of exams and US centers for exam
• Singapore government Tamil education books – We need permission to use their materials
(copyright). I think it could be done.
• Get accreditation for Tamil with Georgia – In CA people has done this before. Getting help from them
– Find out State government or school district has the authority to give accreditation.
• Have yearly exam for each grade.
• Have graduation in Tamil Language
