WOW 2026 – தங்கத்தாரகை மறக்க முடியாத ஒரு மகளிர் நாள்! நன்றி நவில்கிறோம்!
வணக்கம் உறவுகளே,
தங்கத்தாரகை – WOW! – மறக்க முடியாத மகிழ்ச்சியான, மன நிறைவான , களிப்பு, வியப்பு ஆட்டம், பாட்டம், கொண்டாட்டம் என அனைத்தையும் ஒரு சேர அளித்த நிகழ்வாக உங்கள் அனைவருக்கும் இருந்திருக்கும் என்று நம்புகிறோம்!
அன்பான வரவேற்பு, மற்றும் வேகமான முன்பதிவு, வரவேற்புக் குளிர் பானம், புகைப்பட அரங்கு, எனஅழகாகத் தொடங்கியது நம் நிகழ்ச்சி. அங்கே வருகைத் தந்திருந்த நம் பெண்கள் கருப்பு நிறத்திலும் மின்னும் தங்க நிறத்திலும் பட்டாம்பூச்சிகளாக மின்னிக்கொண்டிருந்தனர்.இதனால் அழகுக்கு அழகு சேர்ப்பது போல் நம் நிகழ்ச்சி மேலும் அழகு பெற்றது என்றால் அது மிகையாகாது!
நமது தொழில் நுட்பக் குழுவின் உறுப்பினர் திரு.ஐயப்பன், செயலாளர் திரு.கணேசன் நடராஜன், பொருளாளர் சங்கீதா, துணைத்தலைவர் திரு.பீட்டர் ரோசாரி மற்றும் தகவல் தொடர்பு ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் திரு.அருள் சேவியர் அவர்களின் உதவியால் முன்பதிவு மிகவும் சீரியமுறையில் நடந்தது.
நமது நிகழ்ச்சி அட்லாண்டா மாநகரத் தமிழ்ச் சங்கத்தின் 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டின் தலைவர் திருமிகு மருதயாழினி பிரதீபா அவர்களின் வரவேற்புரையுடன் தொடங்கி பொருளாளர் திருமிகு சங்கீதா ரமேஷ் மற்றும் தங்கத் தாரகை நிகழ்ச்சியின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர்கள் திருமிகு பபிதா தமிழ்ச் செல்வன் மற்றும் ஸ்ரீரஞ்சனி சேகர் அவர்களின் உரையோடு தொடர்ந்தது.
நமது நிகழ்ச்சியின் திறமையானத் தொகுப்பாளர்கள் திருமிகு மீனாட்சி கணேஷ் மற்றும் திருமிகு நிரஞ்சனா ஜெயக்குமார், நிகழ்ச்சியை மிகுந்த களிப்புடன் தொடங்கி, தொடர்ந்து தொய்வின்றிச் செவ்வனே வழி நடத்தினர்.
நமது போட்டிக்குழுவைச் சார்ந்த திருமிகு கிருத்திகா புனிதராஜ் மற்றும் திருமிகு பிரேமா பாய் திருமிகு ஜீவிதா கிருஷ்ணன் நடத்திய விறுவிறுப்பான திரைப் போட்டிகள் மற்றும் விளையாட்டுகளில் மக்கள் மிகுந்த புத்துணர்ச்சியோடும் மகிழ்ச்சியோடும் கலந்துகொண்டு மகிழ்ந்தனர்.
இந்த முறை நாம் இன்னும் மூன்று புதிய போட்டிகளை அறிமுகம் செய்தோம் அதில் ஒன்று GATS WOW2026 – K-Town Queens: The Movie Character Ramp Walk இதில் முதலாம் இடத்தை திருமிகு ராதிகா கார்த்திகேயன் அவர்களும் இரண்டாம் இடத்தை திருமிகு லாவண்யா கேதார்நாத் மற்றும் மூன்றாம் இடத்தை திருமிகு ஷாலு கார்த்திக் அவர்களும் வென்றனர். இந்தப் போட்டிக்கு நடுவர்களாக இருந்து, நேர்த்தியான முடிவுகளை வழங்கிய நமது சிறப்பு விருந்தினர்கள் திருமிகு ஸ்ரீதேவி சுப்பிரமணியன் மற்றும் திருமிகு கிருத்திகா சுப்பிரமணியன் அவர்களுக்கும் எங்கள் நெஞ்சார்ந்த நன்றி.
இரண்டாவது போட்டி GATS WOW2026 – The Ethnic Icon: Best Dressed Traditional இதில் முதலாம் இடத்தை திருமிகு லாவண்யா கேதார்நாத் அவர்களும், இரண்டாம் இடத்தை திருமிகு ராஜலக்ஷ்மி மனோஜ் அவர்களும், மூன்றாம் இடத்தை திருமிகு ஆனந்தலக்ஷ்மி ஸ்ரீராம் அவர்களும் மற்றும் திருமிகு நித்ய சேகர் அவர்களும் வென்றார்கள். இந்தப் போட்டிக்கு நடுவர்களாக இருந்த திருமிகு கிருத்திகா சுப்பிரமணியன் மற்றும் மருத்துவர் திருமிகு கலை செல்வம் அவர்களுக்கு எங்கள் நெஞ்சார்ந்த நன்றி.
மூன்றாவது குறுங் காணொளி போட்டி, இது முற்றிலும் ஆன்லைனில் நடத்தப்பட்டது. எந்தக் காணொளி மக்களின் அதிக விருப்பங்களைப் பெற்றதோ அதன் படியே நம் தேர்வும் இருந்தது. முதலாம் இடத்தைப் பிடித்தவர்கள் திருமிகு அனிதா லட்சுமி வேலாயுதம், இரண்டாம் இடத்தை 90’s கலாட்டா குழுவினரும் மூன்றாம் இடத்தை ரஜினி சுந்தர்ராஜும் பெற்றனர்.
நிகழ்ச்சியின் முக்கியப் பகுதியான திருமிகு. GATS 2026 பட்டத்தை இம்முறை திருமிகு அனிதா ஷா அவர்கள் வென்றார். மேலும் இரண்டாம் மற்றும் மூன்றாம் இடங்களை முறையே வென்ற திருமிகு ரம்யா துரை மற்றும் திருமிகு திவ்யா வினோத் அவர்களுக்கும் எங்களது உளமார்ந்த பாராட்டுகள். இந்தப் போட்டிக்கு நடுவர்களாக இருந்து, நேர்த்தியான முடிவுகளை வழங்கிய திருமிகு ஆர்த்தி ராஜசேகரன் (2024 திருமதி ஜார்ஜியா பட்டம் வென்றவர்) திருமிகு கலை செல்வம் (மருத்துவர்) மற்றும் திருமிகு கிருத்திகா சுப்பிரமணியன் (முன்னாள் GATS தலைவர்) அவர்களுக்கும் எங்கள் நெஞ்சார்ந்த நன்றி.
அந்த அழகிய மாலை நேரம் முழுவதும் கண்கவர் குழு நடனங்களும், காதுகளுக்கு விருந்தளிக்கும் இனிமையான குழுப் பாடல்களும் சிறப்பான விளையாட்டுகளும், அட்லாண்டா பறைக்குழு மகளிர் வழங்கிய அசத்தல் பறையாட்டம் மற்றும் பயிற்சி என நிகழ்ச்சி களைகட்டியது. கலை நிகழ்ச்சிகளை ஒருங்கிணைத்து நமக்கு உதவிய நமது கலை மற்றும் பண்பாட்டுக் குழுவினைச் சேர்ந்த திருமிகு ஜெர்லின், திருமிகு அருணா, திருமிகு ஈஸ்வரி, திருமிகு ஷாலினி அவர்களுக்கும் உளமார்ந்த நன்றி.
நமது உறுப்பினர்கள் பலரின் தோழிகள் அனுப்பியிருந்த பாராட்டுக்காணொளிகள் நிகழ்ச்சியின் இடை இடையே ஒளிபரப்புச் செய்யப்பட்டது. எதிர்பார்க்காத நேரத்தில் தங்களது தோழிகள் தங்களைக் குறித்துப் பேசுவதைக்கண்ட நம் தங்கத்தாரைகைகளின் முகத்தில் புன்னகையையும், மகிழ்ச்சிக் கண்ணீரையும் கண்டபொழுது மிகவும் உள்ள நிறைவாக இருந்தது.
WOW GATS 2026 தங்கத்தாரகை நம் DJ ரேகா அவர்கள் நெறிப்படுத்திய துள்ளலான இசை அனைவரையும் ஆட்டம் போட வைத்தது என்று சொன்னாளல் அது மிகையாகாது, அவர்களுக்கும் எங்கள் உளமார்ந்த நன்றி பல.
இப்படி ஒரு நிகழ்ச்சியைச் சுவைக்கும் நேரத்தில், சுவையான உணவைச் சுவைக்காமல் எப்படி? சுவையான சிற்றுண்டி மற்றும் இரவு உணவை நமக்கு வழங்கிய ‘அண்ணபூரணி உணவகத்திற்கு’ உளமார்ந்த நன்றியை உரித்தாக்குகின்றோம்.இதனை ஒருங்கிணைத்த நமது குழுவின் திரு.சங்கர் ராமசாமி அவர்களுக்கு அன்பும் நன்றியும்.
அழகாய் மிளிர்ந்த நம் மகளிரை மேலும் அழகாய்க் காட்ட, இந்த நிகழ்வின் நினைவலைகளைத் தங்கள் குவிய கண்களால் பதிவு செய்து நமது பார்வைக்கு பரிசளித்த நமது இளைஞர் குழு குழந்தைகளுக்கு எங்களின் மனமார்ந்த நன்றிகளைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம்.
அப்படிப் பதிவு செய்த புகைப்பட நினைவுகளுக்கு அழகான பின்னூட்ட திரை அமைத்த நமது சுற்றோலைக் குழுவைச் சார்ந்த திரு.செல்வம், திரு.விமல் , திருமிகு பிரியா கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி, திருமிகு அஸ்வினி பழனி அவர்களுக்கும் மேடை அலங்காரம் அமைத்துத் தந்த திரு. தீபக்குமார் திருமிகு கிருத்திகா புனிதராஜ், திருமிகு மலர்க்கொடி ஜானகிராம், மற்றும் திரு. அருள் சேவியர் மற்றும் அலங்காரக் குழுவில் உழைத்த அனைவருக்கும் எங்களின் உளமார்ந்த நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறோம்.
நிகழ்ச்சியின் முகன்மையான பகுதியாக, நமது சிறப்பு விருந்தினர், திருமிகு ஸ்ரீதேவி சுப்பிரமணியன் அவர்கள் ஆற்றிய சிறப்புரை அனைவரையும் உணர்வுப் பூர்வமாக ஈர்த்தது.
இன்றைய அவசரமான உலகில் பெண்களுக்கு உடல் நலமும் மன நலமும் எவ்வளவு முக்கியம் என்பதை ஆணித்தனமாக நம் ஒவ்வொருவரின் மனதிலும் பதியும்படி எடுத்துரைத்த நம் சிறந்த சமூக ஆர்வலரான நம் சிறப்பு விருந்தினர் திருமிகு ஸ்ரீதேவி சுப்பிரமணியன் அவர்களுக்கு எங்களின் நன்றி கலந்த வணக்கத்தை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம்.
நிகழ்ச்சியின் இறுதியில் நமது பொருளாளர் திருமிகு சங்கீதா ரமேஷ் அவர்கள் நன்றியுரை கூறிய பின்னர் அனைவரும் ஒன்று கூடி, கேக் வெட்டிக் கொண்டாடினார்கள். அதன் பின்னர் கண்களை கவரும் விளக்குகள் எரிய அமைக்கப்பட்ட நடன தளத்தில் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் அனைவரும் நடனமாடி நிகழ்வினை நிறைவு செய்தனர்.
இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை முன்னின்று வழி நடத்திய திருமிகு பபிதா தமிழ்செல்வன் மற்றும் திருமிகு ஸ்ரீரஞ்சனி அவர்களுக்கும் அவர்களோடு கைகோத்து அவரவர் பொறுப்புகளை செவ்வனே செய்த GATS இன் இயக்குனர் குழு, செயற்குழு, செயற்பாட்டுக் குழு மற்றும் துணைக்குழுக்களை சார்ந்த பெண்கள், ஆற்றல் மிக்க இளைய தலைமுறைத் தன்னார்வலர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் உளமார்ந்த நன்றிகளைச் சொல்லிக்கொள்கிறோம். இவர்கள் அனைவரின் பங்களிப்பின்றி இப்படி ஒருவெற்றிகரமான நிகழ்வு நடந்திருக்க முடியாது.
“ஒவ்வொரு ஆணின் வெற்றிக்குப் பின்னணியில் ஒரு பெண் இருக்கிறாள்” என்றகூற்று உண்மை தான். ஆனால், பெண்களின் வெற்றிக்குப் பின்னாலும் ஆண்களின் ஒத்துழைப்பு இருக்கிறது என்பதும் உண்மை என இந்நிகழ்வு உணர்த்தியது. இந்தநிகழ்ச்சியை வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்தப் பின்னணியில் உதவியது மட்டுமன்றி குழுவில்உள்ள மகளிர்க்கு அழகான நினைவுப் பரிசையும் வழங்கிய ஆண்களைப் பாராட்டியே தீர வேண்டும்.
மிக முக்கியமாக, நிகழ்ச்சி முழுவதும் அனைவரையும் பரிசு மழையில் நனையவைத்த எங்கள் கொடையாளர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் கோடான கோடி நன்றியை உரித்தாக்குகிறோம்! அதற்கு உழைத்த திரு. பிரேம்குமார் ஜெயக்குமார் , திரு.அருண் ஸ்ரீனிவாசன், திரு.கோகுல் ராசேந்திரன் அவங்களுக்கும், குழுவினருக்கும் உளமார்ந்த நன்றி.

WOW 2026 – Thangathaaragai: A Women’s Day to Remember! Our Heartfelt Thanks!
Thangathaaragai – WOW! 2026 was truly a memorable celebration filled with joy, pride, excitement, dance, music, and togetherness. We hope this event brought wonderful memories and happiness to each and every one of you.
The evening began beautifully with a warm welcome, smooth registrations, refreshing welcome drinks, and a lively photo booth. The venue sparkled with elegance as our wonderful women attendees arrived dressed in stunning black and glittering gold, looking like graceful butterflies. Their presence truly added beauty and vibrance to the entire celebration.
The registration process was handled smoothly thanks to the efforts of our dedicated team members:
Mr. Ayyappan from the Technology Team, Secretary Mr. Ganesan Natarajan, Treasurer Mrs. Sangeetha, Vice President Mr. Peter Rosari and Communications Coordinator Mr. Arul Xavier.
The event began with the welcome address by the President of the Greater Atlanta Tamil Sangam for 2026, Mrs. Marudhayazhni Prathiba Prem, followed by remarks from Treasurer Mrs. Sangeetha Ramesh and the coordinators of the Thangathaaragai event, Mrs. Babitha Tamizhselvan and Mrs. Sriranjani Sekar.
Our talented emcees, Mrs. Meenakshi Ganesh and Mrs. Niranjana Jayakumar, kept the audience engaged with their lively and energetic hosting throughout the evening.
Fun movie quizzes and exciting games organized by our competition team members Mrs. Krithika Punitharaj, Mrs. Prema Bai, and Mrs. Jeevitha Krishnan brought tremendous enthusiasm and participation from the audience.
This year we introduced three new competitions.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the judges Mrs. Aarthi Rajasekaran (Mrs. Georgia 2024 title holder), Dr. Kalaiselvam, and Mrs. Krithika Subramanian (Former GATS President).
The evening continued with spectacular group dance performances, melodious group singing, engaging games, and a vibrant Parai performance and training session by the Atlanta Parai Women’s Team, which energized the audience. Our sincere thanks to the Cultural Team members Mrs. Jerline, Mrs. Aruna, Mrs. Easwari, and Mrs. Shalini for coordinating these wonderful performances.
Throughout the program, surprise appreciation video messages sent by friends of our participants were played. Seeing these heartfelt messages brought smiles and emotional moments to many of our Thangathaaragai participants.
The celebration became even more lively when DJ Rekha filled the dance floor with energetic music that kept everyone moving. Our heartfelt thanks to her.
What is a celebration without delicious food? We thank Annapoorani Restaurant for serving delightful snacks and dinner, coordinated by Mr. Sankar Ramasamy.
To capture the beautiful memories of this evening, our Youth Team volunteers worked tirelessly behind the lens. We sincerely thank these young photographers for documenting the moments so wonderfully.
We also thank the Newsletter Team members Mr. Selvam, Mr. Vimal, Mrs. Priya Krishnamoorthy, and Mrs. Ashwini Palani for creating the beautiful photo backdrop display, and our decoration team Mr. Deepak Kumar, Mrs. Krithika Punitharaj, Mrs. Malarkodi Janakiraman, Mr. Arul Xavier, and everyone who worked on the stage décor.
One of the most inspiring parts of the evening was the special address by our distinguished guest Mrs. Sridevi Subramanian. Her powerful message about the importance of physical and mental well-being for women in today’s fast-paced world deeply resonated with the audience.
At the end of the event, Treasurer Mrs. Sangeetha Ramesh delivered the vote of thanks. The evening concluded with a joyful cake-cutting celebration followed by lively dancing on a beautifully lit dance floor.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the event coordinators Mrs. Babitha Tamizhselvan and Mrs. Sriranjani Sekar, and to all the members of the GATS Board of Directors, Executive Committee, working committees, sub-committees, and the energetic youth volunteers who contributed their time and effort to make this event a grand success.
It is often said that behind every successful man there is a woman. This event reminded us that behind many successful women, there is also the encouragement and support of men. We truly appreciate the men who supported this event and also presented beautiful gifts to the women participants.
