Heartfelt Thanks for Making GATS Pongal Special Pattimandram a Grand Success!

Our sincere thanks to everyone who made the GATS Pongal Special Pattimandram a joyful and laughter-filled celebration.

Due to the snowstorm, the event had to be postponed and could only be scheduled on a weekday, as our special guests Mr. Raja and Mr. Bharathi Baskar were available only on that day. The Pongal Special Pattimandram was successfully held on Tuesday, February 3, at Reflections Hall, Cumming, which has a seating capacity of 300. Within just a few hours of announcement, all seats were fully registered. The overwhelming response for a weekday event clearly reflects the success of this program.

Although we had to limit attendance due to the hall’s seating capacity, your understanding and kind cooperation helped make this event smooth and memorable.

On the event day, the 2026 Pongal Special Pattimandram began beautifully under the moderation of Mr. Raja, who delivered the opening remarks and introduced the speakers. The debate topic, “Is technology increasing or decreasing happiness in families?”, led to engaging and meaningful discussions. All our Atlanta speakers presented their views confidently and thoughtfully.

We were especially proud of the next-generation participants, Shreya and Ashna, whose confident stage presence and eloquent speech impressed the audience as well as our special guests. The event continued for more than two and a half hours with insightful arguments, humor, and thought-provoking points.

Despite the unexpected changes and the shift to a weekday, it was only because of your cooperation and support that we were able to organize such a successful and fulfilling event within a short time.

At this time, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all our generous sponsors who supported this event:

Sponsors:
Integrated (Title Sponsor), Venkat Samynathan, Tanishq USA, Sikal Adhipathi and Rowles LLC, Octave, Onsite IT Advisors and Belly Button, Talent AV Productions (JIJO), Nare and Aish, Come to Chutney, Girish Modi, Reflections Event Space

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Reflections Event Space for providing the venue at a discounted rate on short notice and supporting us in making this event possible.

Your participation made this Pongal truly unforgettable for everyone. Once again, Greater Atlanta Tamil Sangam extends its sincere gratitude to all of you.

Thank you, Atlanta community!
