These competitions provided a wonderful platform for the younger generation to showcase their creativity and talents while expressing their appreciation for Tamil language and culture. The photography and short video contests especially highlighted the artistic vision of today’s youth.

Delicious Lunch

Following the competitions, a delicious lunch was served to all attendees, catered by Rajini Restaurant. At this time, we would like to express our sincere thanks to the Food Committee volunteers — Akbar Ali, Lavanya Katharnath, Ravi Subburaj, Gokul Rajendran, and all GATS Food Committee members — for helping serve delicious food to the attendees in a timely manner.

Cultural Performances

The afternoon cultural programs added great vibrancy and energy to the celebration. The performances began with a melodious presentation by the Youth Music Band, followed by lively group dance performances, musical renditions, and a traditional Parai performance that captivated the audience. The event also featured “Tamizhodu Vilayadu,” an engaging and interactive Tamil language game for adults, which brought enthusiasm and participation from attendees.

The “Tamizhodu Vilayadu” segment featured engaging questions on Tamil vocabulary, proverbs, and Thirukkural, creating an enjoyable and educational experience for participants. Every performance was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.

A major highlight of the cultural program was the literary group’s drama, “Valluvam Vandha Vazhi”, presented by the GATS Literary Team. The play beautifully portrayed the history and significance of the Thirukkural, delivering its timeless values in a simple yet profound manner. It left a lasting impression on the audience.

We were also delighted to relaunch our quarterly digital magazine, “Ilavenil Malar 2026″.

Special Guest Feature

The grand finale of the event was the release of the music album “Kuralisai Kaaviyam,” composed by Lydian Nadhaswaram and Amirthavarshini.

This remarkable musical project brings the profound wisdom of the Thirukkural to audiences worldwide through meaningful musical compositions. By blending Tamil literature with music, it stands as a unique and inspiring artistic contribution. The album launch was a proud and memorable moment for the Tamil community in Georgia.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the volunteers, cultural performers, competition coordinators, members, and sponsors whose dedication and support made this event a grand success.
